Bass Ridge Studio

During my travels, I fell in love with Montana, and in 1980 I moved to my current home and studio. My earliest art memories are drawing lots of horses. I never outgrew my passion for art or horses, and both dominate the life I live today. I continue to share my life in the spectacular Bitterroot Valley with my kitties, Arabian horses and flower gardens.

Viewing the Montana landscape through a painter’s eyes has honed my awareness and appreciation for the beauty surrounding me. By living here, I’m immersed in the weather, foliage, color and light changes of each season, and the drama they create on this beautiful landscape. I’m provided with a visual feast from sunrise to sunset and given endless opportunities to share my vision through painting in pastel and acrylic.

I’m a member of Artists Along the Bitterroot and participate in the two annual open studio tours. I invite you to come to visit during the tours to view both art work and the flower garden beds. For more tour info, please visit the website: www.artistsalongthebitterroot.com
